Biography

Get to know Deepend

Dutch DJ Deepend is synonymous with positive vibes, keeping dance floors full and dance fans enthusiastic. Colliding house roots with groovy, melodic and pop elements, music has created a studio crush for Falco. His live shows do not disappoint either. From mesmerizing crowds from Ushuaia & Pacha in Ibiza, Tomorrowland & Sziget and Dutch festivals like Dance Valley & 7th Sunday, to nailing a 10-show supporting tour with David Guetta throughout Europe.

From Falco van den Aker to Deepend

Led by Falco van den Aker, Deepend ensures its creations rise above the dance music pool by creating a signature sound. In the remix world, he was on official duties for Matt Simons’ “Catch & Release”. This remix charted at #1 across Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain and France. Ultimately the song reached double platinum, platinum & gold status in 15 countries across the world. The DJ racked in over 360 million Spotify plays and 100 million YouTube streams for the remix. Deepend has locked his time down well and worked on more remixes for Disciples, LP, James Blunt, JP Cooper, Robin Schulz, Gnash, Chef’ Special and many others.

DJ collaborations

New tracks and international collaborations  have established Deepend even further on mainstream pop charts. For example with Sam Feldt, singer/songwriter and Glee actor Chord Overstreet, Graham Candy and Janieck, but also with Dutch powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve and German Dance duo Younotus, resulting in hits such as “Waiting For The Summer”, “To Rome”, “Woke Up In Bangkok”, “Long Way Home”, “Desire”, “Skinnydip”, a remake of Mauro Picotto’s megahit “Komodo”, the official remix for Lithuania’s Eurovision entry and, most recently, his remix of Chef’Specials hit “Affraid Of The Dark”. With exciting new releases coming up, we won’t be seeing the end of his music. For a long time to come.
